WINNER ALRIGHT!! Talented Florist Ann Marie O'Leary from Tralee who runs A new leaf florists in Camp, near Tralee photographed by Ray McManus Sportsfile after being announced the Anthony Ryan best Dressed Lady in Galway, Anne Marie celebrated her 40th Birthday today, Congrats Ann Marie, delighted for you. Ann Maries Outfit was Designed in Tralee, County Kerry, Hat by Carol Kennelly Millinery, was a sequined clad base accessorized with large dahlias in tones of taupe, cream and dusky pink, the dress was designed by Karyn Moriarty, Tralee.

This year’s Best Dressed Lady will walk away with a one carat diamond solitaire pendant valued at €8500, a shopping spree worth €1500 in Anthony Ryans, Galway and €1000 cash. She will also receive a corporate hospitality package for Galway Races October Bank Holiday Racing Festival to include dinner and champagne reception and a Lancôme Presentation Gift Hamper worth over €500.
The prize for the winner of the ‘Best Hat’ is a €1500 shopping spree at Anthony Ryan’s Galway. All finalists at the Anthony Ryan’s Best Dressed marquee will be presented with a special collection of Lancôme cosmetics compliments of University Pharmacy, Galway.

GALWAY RACES 2011 was a riot of colour, ladies wearing Carol Kennelly creations were out in force, with Eight gaining a place in the finals of the prestigious Anthony Ryan Galway Races Ladies Day Best dressed Lady Competition Mary Stapleton, Claire Murphy, Carol Kennelly, Karyn Moriarty, Amy Murphy, Ann Marie O'Leary, Derval O'Connell and Annemarie Blennerhassett pictured above.

Winning Anthony Ryan Best Dressed Lady Competition at the Galway Races was a dream come true for me, I was four months pregnant with my son Charlie at the time. My husband Kerry and daughter Rosie travelled to the races with me. My outfit was a purple strapless dress by French Connection, with coordinating purple shoes from Quills, Killarney. I made the Handbag and Headpiece myself. The headpiece was inspired by a Hibiscus flower, which I covered in yellow feathers and finished with matching purple butterflies.
