I have always enjoyed going to race meetings with my friends, For me, getting dressed up for Ladies Day is the ultimate girly day out. However I would often find it difficult to find that perfect hat to complete an outfit, so a few years back I decided to unleash my creative side and learn how to do it myself. After winning Listowel Best Dressed lady competition in 2007 and Galway Races Best Dressed in 2008 wearing headpieces I created myself I decided to go on a millinery course. I trained with the award winning milliner Lina Stein.In 2010 I started my Millinery business from my home in Tralee, County Kerry. and within a month won Best Hat at Killarney Races and Ann Marie O’Leary won Best dressed at Galway Races wearing one of my Designs.
